Guest guest
Hello Mel, I am having my reversal tomorrow morning with Dr. Levin in Louisville, KY. I am 40, talk about biological clock, and we have 4 wonderful children. 12.5 years ago I was pressured by family and my own selfish desires to have a tubal ligation. I regretted it soon after but resigned myself to the fact that it is just what I was stuck with. I have mostly regretted that I took control from God. Children are a blessing and we should have been willing to take whatever He was to give us without controlling it. We are now ready to do that but who knows what outcome there will be! Emotionally I think I have suffered the most from feeling as if my womanhood had been stolen. I am very anxious to be whole again and to know that I am back to the original design that God intended, with the exception of missing a bit of my fallopian tubes! You will find wonderful, loving and helpful women on this email list! Blessings, Janice TL 6/13/90 TR 2/27/03 {SPAM?} considering tubal reversal Hi, I was just wanting to connect with some one to talk with about TR. If you haven't had it yet or just had it done. I was just wanting some personl insight to not only the physical aspects but the emotional to yourself and family. My family would think I am crazy for wanting another baby. I have 2 beautiful sons, 8 & 10 years old. I am almost 31 and I thought I would have already done this by now. But it seems that time is passing by at a very fast rate! I can feel my biological clock, I have always wanted a girl, but after the birth of my second son, I had by tubes tied. It wasn't long after I felt the regret. Everyone, esp my Mom insisted that 2 kids were more than enough. I have been married for 11 years to a wonderful man and father! We have a great relationship and family life. We are not rich, but we are comfortable in regard to out finances. I am a RN and my husband is a teacher. Sorry so long, just wanted to give a little background. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, mel
Guest guest
I had instant regret when I had my tubal done, after the birth of my daughter almost 5 yrs ago. My husband and I have talked about this for the past 4 yrs, and are finally set to try it in Sept this year.
Guest guest
OMG, Mel... you sound just like me a year ago! I have 2 dds who are now 8 and almost 11. (I just turned 32) After trying to adopt for years with many problems, we decided to have the TR done. Everyone thought we were absolutely out of our minds....needless to say.. they have changed their minds! We had the TR done on April 1, 2002 and on Friday we are having a c-section to deliver our first son..and everyone who said we are crazy(mostly my family) are just thrilled and can't wait to meet him. It is very possible and been one of the greatest gifts we were ever blessed with! considering tubal reversal Hi, I was just wanting to connect with some one to talk with about TR. Guest guest
Mel, I haven't had the TR yet, we are hoping to schedule the surgery at the end of March due to work schedules. I'm 30 years old and want another child. My mother also made me feel that I had enough children and tying my tubes would be the most responsible choice. Now I work from home and decided I wanted another child. I'm trying to lose weigh before the surgery, but it's hard to do now that I'm home all day. Have you had your consultation with Dr. Levin yet? > " >Reply-To: TubalLigationReversal >To: TubalLigationReversal >Subject: considering tubal reversal >Date: Wed, 26 Feb 2003 11:37:09 -0000 > >Hi, I was just wanting to connect with some one to talk with about >TR.
