Guest guest
Thanks for the info on glutaric aciduria....Can I ask a question? My son has consistently elevated levels of 3 methyl-glutaric acid....that is why he was tested for Barth's Syndrome (which he doesn't have per DNA test). He has hypotonia too. Guest guest
We went to a metabolic specialist in boston who tested zach w/ a skin biopsy. It confirmed our diagnosis. maybe you should ask for one. They're harmless. They dont even sedate. They take a tiny chunk of skin from the tush. it takes 3-4 months to get results back for there is like one place that ddoes the test and they need a batch of the labs before they will run it. sarah mom to zach 17 months, glutaric aciduria type 2 is, 3 fine so far > Thanks for the info on glutaric aciduria....Can I ask a question?
