Guest guest
Most veggies have some carbs; the only totally carb-free food (naturally occurring) is MEAT. However, most veggies (aside from root vegetables and winter squash) have very few. Also, remember that fiber, although technically a carb, doesn't count from our point of view, and most of the carbs in most veggies are fibre. (To get the net carbs, subtract the fibre from the gross carbs [N=G-F]). Re: Doctors Appt today Aren't veggies carbs????? Guest guest
Louise: I know you are willing to try it but I still think that an extreme recommendation like no carbs just leads to frustration and a lesser chance of success. But try it for awhile but please know that you can introduce some carbs eventually and cover it with Humalog.
