Guest guest Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 The CPAP I'm using has the head gear straps like the mask, but the nostril pillow fits into the nostrils like a cannula...only there is no space for " leakage " . I also have to use a chin strap until my body is trained to keep my mouth shut!! It's a new item and easier than the mask. My O2 company will supply my husband with a unit over night that will show if he has sleep apnea too. He can be hooked up to the equipment by the O2 company over night. Walt will have to have a doc's prescription first. I think he will go ahead and do it 'cause I keep telling him he snores loud, and quits breathing too.
