Guest guest
Rob, What's amazing is that there's an off-topic list. At least, these people could have the courtesy of putting OT (off-topic) in the subject line so we can delete. Oh, what I wouldn't give for Ron's postings of newspaper articles instead of this political drivel. -Wes Ogilvie
Guest guest
Mr. Pearlman, Why do you post this type of message to an EMS list? In the past couple of months you have twice posted sets of interesting medical questions. Good for you. That is what this list is all about. However, you also posted a " stop the war " message and now this off-topic and less-than-interesting poll. You don't like our President, okay, no problem. Everybody has a right to their opinion, but posting that opinion here is wrong. This is a topical list about Texas Emergency Medical Services and the people involved in the delivery of same. Anything else is off-topic and a violation of netiquette. We in EMS have enough difficulty getting along with each other. We don't need further reasons to argue. Politics belong on political lists. You want to stir up arguments please go to those lists, but please keep it off of this list. Best regards, Donn * * * PLEASE VOTE IN THIS BUSH ECONOMY STINKS POLL * * * http://www.misterpoll.com/806383649.html Please spread this poll all over the internet. But then again, when a few of us suggested that the " Thought Of The Day " was off-topic, we were shouted down by the " free speech " crowd who says we can just ignore and delete those posts we aren't interested in. You reap what you sow. The majority squawked that they don't mind off-topic posts, so now they are stuck with them. For some of those same people to now suggest otherwise is hypocritical. Although, that doesn't surprise me. Rob
