Working out

I am currently trying to battle my fibro, which by reading everyone

else's story must be fairly mild, with exercise and nutrition. The

nutrition is going well but I am having a lot of problems on the

exercise. Each time I start a program I get sick with a cold or

something similar. Talking to others I have been told this is due to

my immune system being compromised already and any additional stress

I put on my body just sends me over the edge and I catch the next

thing in the air. I have gotten so frustrated that I just quit and

do it all over again. After two months of this I realize it is just

not going to work.

I have now decided to take it baby steps. Instead of going for a

half hour of cardio a day or an hour of weight training I am doing

15 minutes of cardio or half hour of weight training. I am hoping

that by approaching this in absurdly small steps I will be able to

progress and not make myself sick.

Has anyone had this problem also? Has anyone overcome this and got

themselves going in the right direction? If so, do you have workouts

or such that you can recommend? Thanks.
