Guest guest
I've taken MTX for 10 years, Humira for 1 year. Here's a fact: after you inject a site numerous times (i.e. your legs) the skin and tissue becomes easier to bruise and more painful besides. I now rotate legs, and abdomen. Yes, I think there are less nerve fibers in stomach fat than in the tops of your legs. The key is to rotate the injection sites. Re: the Humira pen. I started with it but now request the syringes. The reason is I feel I don't have to push as hard and I can easily control how fast I inject the Humira. The slower I inject it, the less painful it is for me. If you push it in quickly (as with the pen) it hurts like crazy and often bruises the skin. Geesh......I hate taking this stuff but I'm walking around with no joint pain because of it. Oh well......
