Guest guest
I was also told that fibro was equal sided but have found out that isn't the case. I'm right handed but have most of my pain on the left side. My right hand is involved but that's mostly it for the right side. I still believe that there is more unknown about this disease than what is actually known. Doctors differ in their beliefs and then it depends too on what kind of doctor you talk to. My rheumatologist says one thing, neurologist something else; I don't think my family doctor puts much stock in this " so-called " disease. One of my sons bought me two books: The Fibromyalgia Help Book By Fransen RN and I.Jon , MD Ph.D Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome By Devin Starlanyl MD and Ellen Copeland M.S.,M.A These books have a lot of information in them and I use them constantly but to get the " real " picture, it takes talking to people like you who are living the pain. I'm so thankful I found this group but wish we could all be friends under different circumstances! Am glad this question generated such a response. Thanks much.
