Hi,

WOW, and I thought Mr. Mark was the only one who did that in doorways. He's

gotten better lately due to me threatening handcuffs about 2 million times!

Take Care,

Judy

Gee, how well I remember that iron grip! and the worst time would be when

Jim's bp was bottoming out and he was filling over with the walker clenched

in his fists and he'd be stiff as a board as I tried to lower him to the

floor. Never could figure out an easy way to relax that grip - whether he

was conscious or not.

Hugs to all,

Nan

Nan,

:o) Charlotte sometimes gets that grip on my arms and her nails go right into

the skin.

Nan,

In addition to doorways and arms of chairs, I often can't get Ken to let

loose of my hand. I have Arthritis in my hands and that is when I sometimes

lose my cool and accuse him of trying to hurt me. It does really hurt, but I

do know he doesn't want to hurt me.

Barbara,

Yes, there were times when I thought Jim would break my hand! and I

remember peeling his fingers off many things around the house... forks,

spoons, pencils, the computer mouse, fudgesicle sticks......

Hugs,

Nan

Nan:

I have been following your campaigning unopposed and remembering when Ken

had to run for election for Judge and he was unopposed. Just the same, he

seemed to feel he had to get out there and be seen. It was not considered

right for a Judge to raise funds for himself, so all the Judges up in a given

year would help raise money for a joint war chest which could be used by

whoever had an opponent. On hindsight, I guess that was just as unethical,

but one Judge alone couldn't be accused of it. Anyway, they did it every

election, and noone decided to make an issue of it. Good luck to you; I

really do admire you.

Oh yes, one of the craziest times Ken gets a death grip is when he is

trying to stand up and he can't let go of the wheelchair. Sometimes he lifts

it way up in the air with him before we can pry his fingers loose.

Love, Barbara
