Guest guest
OK Donn, what's the prize. Sheese! What a cheapskate. I always offer an enticing prize with my puzzles, like a glorious week in Ladonia or something. When I hear what the prize is I'll make a determination whether or not to disclose the answer which ALL paramedics ought to know. Guest guest
How about three, no expenses paid fun filled days in Midlothian with complimentary bowl of Bledsoe's chili? Too late now though, looks like Maxine already nailed it. Donn Re: Trivia question OK Donn, what's the prize. Sheese! What a cheapskate. Guest guest
Good going Maxine, you hit the nail on the head. Now it is your turn to come up with a medical trivia question. Guest guest
Donn, The plant is foxglove and the active drug is digitalis. Dropsy is CHF by another name. I have no idea what the name of the book was. Jeanne E. Guest guest
The choice appears to be between leeches and maggots. Leeches could promote healing by improving circulation and reducing swelling. Maggots eat away dead tissue, thereby cleaning the would and promoting healing. My guess is that the answer you are looking for is maggots.
