Hi gang, just wanted to say thank you for the roll call but as Cheryl said,

it is an open meeting for anyone that has issues surrounding obesity. It is

not required that you have the surgery to attend. It is an informal

gathering folks with common issues surrounding obesity. Family and friends

are welcomed too! Looking forward to seeing everyone there on Saturday,

Durham Regional Hospital 2-5PM. Remember, there will be a guest speaker, Ms.

Harper, MSW, LCSW/P, an adult therapist that will be discussing various

topics. Should be informative and fun!!

Why on earth would I need to ask for a roll call on a support

meeting that is open to the public? I know I didn't feel the need to

contact her personally to notify her I was coming. I am merely putting

out an inquiry to the gang and keeping up with it for fun.

Cheryl: I don't think you understood my post .I did not post so you would

ask PERMISSION from , rather, since it is her " thing " and she is on

top of it( I believe Dr R named her " in charge " of the support group was

her official titling , I made the suggestion to contact her to see who

else might have told her they were coming that might not even BE on this

list! I think you misunderstood and overreacted.

Forget it Cheryl. I'm not biting on this one. I think Dr R having to

moderate should have made EVERYONE think first before starting things up

again.

What I said stands and sorry only that you misunderstood. Try your own

advice before posting publicly and trying to incite a problem please as

everyone is trying to keep this list happy.
