Guest guest
Hi , I am also in PA. Miranda does have a mito dosorder and she also has MA as secondary. We are trying to get them to cover her CoQ10 but its getting to be so drawn out. Have you had any success with this? Where in PA are you? Re: Introduction - Marie Hi Marie. My name is and I am also new to this group, however I live in PA also and Medical Assistance has been terrific about covering everything that my primary insurance denies. MA is currently taking care of all meds for my son Noah. Definatly look into your secondary insurance options. I have Gateway and they have been very helpful! Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
Guest guest
, I am in Pittsburgh. Noah is not on CoQ10, although they still think mito. may eventually be the diagnosis. Every test under the sun comes back abnormal, but not enough to be diagnostic. MA does, however, cover all of his meds and his G-tube equipment, and Pediasure. I guess a supplement could be trickier, but I have had great success with Gateway listening to my doctors and supplying what is needed. I know the waiting process, as I'm sure we all do. It drives me crazy! But keep pushing for the coverage and get your doctor to call them directly if you haven't already done so.
