Yes, the doc did say that white blob next to the face is a hand. :) It was

too early to see the sex and we didn't really want to know anyway. I have

no feelings about whether it will be a boy or a girl...I'd like a girl,

after two boys, but we already have all the boy stuff, so...

Thanks!

-Sara.

p.s. you can kind of see the fibroid if you know what you're looking for, up

at the top. It's the same color as the uterine wall & just looks like a

thickening. At a different angle you could see it a lot better. The

placenta was lighter and Id ont' think you can see it in any of hte pix.

wow! i guess that makes it feel way more real! congratulations again sara! i

think the names you have chosen are beautiful. i know vivian is a second name

choice but i think it is my favourite. i have an aunt muriel who detests her

name. she always fantasized her name was vivian. apparently that is what my

grandmother originally called her and then changed her name at four days old to

muriel. my grandmother never should have mentioned this!

That is just exactly what I said when pregnant with my third, who was indeed

a girl.

Thanks . :)

It was exciting to see the baby and especially watch him/her moving. I

don't think it made it more real, exactly...all the puking was pretty real

if you KWIM! ;) But this is our third time through so maybe that makes a

difference. And I had been feeling flutters already, too - now that makes

it very real. Hello, baby!

(In case you have the trouble with names that I do - the tentative names are

Stefania Vivian or Raphael Antony.)

Vivian was Matt's maternal grandmother's name. Matt's sister named her baby

Vivian so that's out as a first name. ;) Stefania was Matt's paternal

grandmother's name; she passed away last summer. Antony is his paternal

grandfather's name, and he has asked us to name our next boy after him, so

that is where Raphael Antony came from. (They came over from Poland.

Stefania's maiden name was Szcrpyk - how much more Polish can you get?? And

I thought Byk was bad. ;)

is Matt's middle name. & Raphael (RAY-fee-uhl) are not

family names but we are Catholic and the angels & saints are important in

our lives. After they seemed to fit. It took me awhile to warm up

to Raphael but of course we need the matched set. ;)

That's funny. :)

My dad wanted to name me and I would still like to work that into a

girl's name. Naturally I have always liked much better than Sara.

;)

-Sara.
