Guest guest
Ok, sorry I have been MIA for about a week now. I just went for a quick trip to my sister's (she lives about 4 hours away) and my little yorkie ended up getting quite ill and I had to stay until today. In fact, she is now in the animal hospital here in Memphis and the doctor's have no clue what could be making her so sick. ANYWAY.....AF actually arrived today. I was not at all suprised as I knew once again that I had O'ed from the right side. I refuse to get depressed. I called my RE today to let him know ole AF had shown up, and remind him that this is the month we were planning to start Clomid. You won't believe he had the nerve to suggest I hold off on TTC this month to relax. I swear I thought surely he is not serious. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, as the thought of that was ridiculous. I didn't say anything and so he said " OK, so maybe that's not what we need to do " . I explained that at 35 I couldn't afford to wait a month and that we had agreed to take a more aggressive approach. He agreed and said he thought I might have needed a break, but it wasn't something that was necessary. SO, in the end he called in my prescription for Clomid for me to start taking on Thursday for five days. I thought we were going to do it on cd5-10, but he wants to start off on cd3 - 7, to be followed by u/s. Oh I am hoping this is just what my left ovary needs to get it jump started. I have no clue what to expect form clomid so all advice is greatly appreciated. Dana F cd1
