Guest guest
YAY!!!!!! Jacquie H Was going to be vent/whine, but not now Okay, driving home from dropping Matt off at school (late again), I had this whole vent/rant/whine post in my head ready to send. People here don't stop at stop signs, they pull out of side streets like they own the main street, I'm so fat and out of shape it's hard to get out of my own way, and 2 radio stations here are ALREADY playing x-mas music. Well, that's not important anymore. :-) When I got to Matt's school, he was whining, etc. Didn't want to go, blah, blah, blah, nothing new. We're walking across the playground and I see his teacher walking into the classroom and I say " There's Miss Nicki, wanna go see her? " and he made the sign for " yes " and started running toward the classroom. :-) Then, we get there, and he climbs right up on the stepstool they have and start hanging up his jacket and backpack. :-) So grownup. Course, he whined when I left, but I KNEW it was for show only. BTW, also let the girl he can't stand in class give him a hug yesterday, and then stepped back and smiled. Things ARE improving!! :-) Then, after composing the vent whine post in my head on the way home, there's a message from his developmental ped that isn't on our insurance and we have an appointment for on 12/3. Last time I had to pay $210 because no one told me I needed a referral. Well, I faxed Matt's ped Monday with the notes from the previous visit, and VIOLA! the developmental ped has the referral ALREADY and I only need to pay the copay of $15. My credit card is VERY happy!!! :-) So, all in all, the day is going good. The idiot drivers can run into each other for all I care, I'll change the radio station, and well, I can't do much about being a cow overnight, but every little bit of exercise I do around the house counts. :-) Thanks for listening! ellen --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Ellen I am so thrilled that things are going well. I had ALOT of problems with insurance companies and it sounds like you've got that all under control. I've been feeling really bad about myself lately too. When my mom asked what I wanted for Christmas I told her a gym membership. Then I just have to convince my husband to set a time every day for me to go. That's really impressive that he can hang up his jacket. My keeps trying to hang it up with her sleeve LOL G

Guest guest
Well, the teacher helped him, but it convinced me to go find a decent looking coat rack to hang up where he can reach it so he can get in the habit of doing it here at home too. As for feeling yucky about myself, I promptly went to a Chinese restaurant after picking matt up from school and now have enough Chinese food to last a couple days. doesn't eat it, but I found out likes crab rangoon. :-) I found an AWESOME pedometer online that measures steps, calories, distance and also reads your pulse. THink maybe I'll splurge and get it for myself for x-mas and start walking like I'd planned to do now that he's in school. I CAN'T go through another Vegas summer this big. ellen Re: Was going to be vent/whine, but not now Ellen I am so thrilled that things are going well. Guest guest
ellen: Great about the hanging up! But I think that our kids do those things at school much more easily because of the clear routine. I was amazed by how competent and organized Putter was at school when he first went, well, after he had been there for a while when he first went. I believe he spent his time having tantrums the first week.... And really GREAT news about the insurance. Hooray! Salli

Guest guest
sWarehouse.com They have a bunch, and this one was less than $40. I'll have to wait and see how some of my ebay auctions sell before I buy anything. Plus, I have a birthday coming up. Maybe I can wiggle it out of somebody. :-) ellen RE: Was going to be vent/whine, but not now Well, the teacher helped him, but it convinced me to go find a decent looking coat rack to hang up where he can reach it so he can get in the habit of doing it here at home too.
