I've seen some great information at this site regarding probiotics.

I just mail ordered " Candistroy " --I think it's distributed by " Nature's

Secret " ? I thought I'd try it, because of long-term antibiotic use, etc.

My sister has been using it because she's also been on long-term

antibiotic use and has a goodly number of allergies. She says that she

feels better and doesn't seem so reactive to former (and current)

allergens, and has reduced the intake of her allergy medications. As a

side bonus, she claims her skin has become less of a problem too!

Candistroy apparently helps a person get rid of the " yeasts overload " and

" bad bacteria " So, I figure it can't hurt to try Candistroy--it may even

help

Carol

PS. Anybody at this site--have you tried Candistroy and if so, what has

your experience been.. At this point, all I have is the anecdotel info

Thanks

Gretchen,

My sister seems to be very happy with the Candistroy--she and I have had a

lot of health problems and as a consequence have been on many antibiotics,

sometimes for lengthy periods of time. I just thought it was so neat that

she believes the Candistroy is ALSO helping her skin--she got it

initially, hoping it would keep at bay, those " evil yeasties " and the

heavy tie-in with yeast overgrowth and worsening allergies. Well, my

order's in the mail, so I am anxiously awaiting its arrival to see for

myself!

Skylar,

I think You're correct, but I don't know if this product needs to be

refrigerated or not--it was ordered by mail and I haven't received it yet.

I'll be sure to look at the directions and report back to everyone--I

know there are many among us who suffer from various allergies. My sis

just mentioned that the Candistroy had seemed to help her skin, and she

seems less sensitive and has reduced her allergy medication.

Thank for keeping me posted!

Carol,

I had to take alot of antibiotics for a staph infection I got when I was

hospitalized......that started a merry'go round of yeast infections. I finally

found cutting out sugar and taking acidophilus made a difference. Good luck to

you!

OK, folks--I know there are those of you just holding your breath for this

bit of info ref " Candistroy "

So to Skylar, Gretchen et al, who have given me many great tidbits of

advice and information...

Skylar, you were right--the " Probiotic Rebuilder " needs refrigeration

AFTER opening, but the directions on the " Candistroyer " just say that it

can be stored in a dark, cool place. The Nature's Secret Candistroy kit

comes with two bottles: the probiotic rebuilder (refrigerate) and the

candistroyer. Since I just received my order today, I cannot accurately

report on whether the candistroy kit will have any noticeable effects on

my skin or my allergies. Just for information; after opening the sealed

bottles and taking one tablet of each, I placed them BOTH in the fridge!

Will keep the support group posted

Carol
