Guest guest
I can't find anything more yet, but I'm still looking. If it is just in phase 2 as of this article written in April, I can guess it will be close to a year before it is approved. Sorry things haven't been going so well. Summer is hard when the kids are home, bored to tears, mom's tired, dad's tired and the kids are full of energy and ready to go. It must be pretty difficult for you working full time and taking care of a family. I hope things get better. If I find anything else, I'll be sure to send it. a ----- Original Message ----- From: Michele Craddock <mcraddockrph@...> < egroups> Sent: Thursday, July 13, 2000 6:34 PM Subject: [ ] Dry Eyes > a, Thanks for the info. Guest guest
Interesting Carolyn, when I lived in Texas I had dry eyes all the time. I also stayed drunk all the time so I thought it had something to do with alcohol. My allergies (skin) were terrible at that time too. Lately, I just get dry eyes after being in the pool at PT. The heavy chlorine not only gives me dry eyes but I sneeze too. Lately with all the fires burning around here the smoky air has made for dry eyes. I just put a few drops of distilled water in my eyes, shut them for a few minutes and am OK. Gretchen

My allergies (skin) were terrible at that time too. Well, now ya know! I truly believe the climate and weather contribute measurably to the way my body feels on a day-to-day basis. The odd part is, I left Texas for about 13 years. When I came back, I had lost all my natural immunity to various allergens common to this area, so now I have allergies to " mountain cedar " our winter bummer allergy, as well as to molds, various trees, grasses, etc. Very strange.... We also have very hard water here with lots of limestone residue - promotes dry skin like crazy, dry hair, probably dry eyes too. ??? Have a good day, Carolyn

Thanks, TerriLynne ====================================== I hope you mean that he had two of his four tear ducts surgically plugged to combat excessively wet eyes. Plugging tear ducts to combat dry eyes is like chopping off your feet so you can walk better, unless I am missing something logical here. :-\ I have heard of people, and know a few, who place just a drop of EVOL (extra virgin olive oil) in each eye and this really helps them with their dry eyes. :-) -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai "Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man." Guest guest
Lo, There's an autoimmune condition that results in dry eyes. . . It's usually accompanied by dry mouth and dry vagina. Many implant women experience this. If it's a chronic condition, there are some prescription meds that can help. If you'll do a web search for " dry eyes " you'll see a lot of recommendations for relief. There are some excellent drops . . . but watch out for those containing silicone! I found that my problems with dryness went away after explant and supplementing with Magnesium. However, the pollen count is extremely high this year and I'm having problems with outdoor allergies for the first time ever! Benedryl is doing a great job of helping with that. Guest guest
Many prescriptions that help Sjogren's (dry eye syndrome) also make your system more toxic in the end, thereby creating more problems. I would recommend using liquid tears and detoxing. Lynda At 08:22 AM 5/4/2005, you wrote: >Lo, > >There's an autoimmune condition that results in dry >eyes. . .
