Guest guest
We really have been on a roll for the last couple of decades in terms of the economy, not all parts of the country and not all people, but in general there has been jobs and money available. The kids have gotten use to to a lifestyle that can provide them pretty much anything they want. Unfortunately I think we are going to have some rough times now. With whatever Obama can do, and I believe it is his intention to do the best he can, it certainly isn't going to happen overnight. I generally avoid politics here because this is not the place for it or our opinions about it. But I think the fact is that a lot of people are going to have to do some adjusting. A lot of us here are already used to living on a fixed income (others might say, this is an income!) and I am learning right now how to do that. It's will be interesting, that's for sure! Guest guest
Stan and ' We been on a roll in the last few decades. Forgive me for asking but what country are you in Stan. I put your name up there so you know what is going on. I don't mean to cause any trouble so forgive me if I am out of line. I am upset but I hope I am not speaking out of turn. My religion allows me to anger but sin not so I am saying my piece. I am speaking for the poor or low income. Those that can't afford medical help. Some even have a college degree or those who are unable to get one due to their mental capacity. I was not speaking for myself for the USA economy. Only the rich or people that are fortunate enough to get medical insurance and or medicine need not worry or be concerned. And can afford to lavish their children with anything they want. I read about people everyday that can't afford medical assistance. I was only hoping on a change for that with our new president I was only hoping , thats all. With a new president I was hoping for a change. I wanted Hilliary but that is beside the point. Time will tell, whether the medical or lack there of changes. What is wrong with me hoping. My husband my daughters can't afford medical insurance. My oldest daughter has a college degree in business. So intelligence is not a real factor. My children did not get anything they wanted growing up, I am sure many has. I wasn't discussing politics per say. I was only hoping for jobs and medical insurance problems to change. Saying I love my country is what I meant. We have a say in USA, that is what I was so happy about. What is political about that Geeze. You think you know it all Stan. I got news for you, no you don't No one knows it all but God. So don't attack me about politics. I was stating facts. I was not campaigning or putting any political party down. I could care less about politics. So let be the boss here not you. Jobs only jobs in our cities Cleveland Ohio, Charlotte NC, Spartanburg SC Is for experience people with degrees. It's all over the news. I am stating facts. People are losing their homes all over the USA, including myself. Businesses are folding up. It's headline news. We just got a new president. Whom I didn't vote for, I am hopeful for him, since he is our new president So sir , what did I say that pertains to politics? In the civilized countries we are the only country that don't have free medical insurance. I talk to people all over the world in my international chat room. I have made friends in almost all of them. So don't try to tell me what to do. is the moderator and she will tell me what is and is not appropriate Who do you think you are?. How dare you. You're not in charge here. So if you can't say anything nice to me leave me alone. Said in facts not anger. Clora who loves her country. ******************************************************** From: stanpfister@... <stanpfister@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: >>>> OT<<<<<<< blood donor eligibility guidelines Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2009, 1:08 PM We really have been on a roll for the last couple of decades in terms of the economy, not all parts of the country and not all people, but in general there has been jobs and money available. Guest guest
Clora, I have read your posts for over a year. You have a wondrous open heart and soul. You are a beautiful human being. Stan is a comic writer. He too, is a good, humerous person. I am sure this is a misunderstanding. We all love, care and support each other in peace, no matter who resides in the White house. Irregardless of health insurance issues (I have none.) we need each other. Let us live in harmony.... Blessings, love and light.... Guest guest
; Thank you so much. I want to live in peace and harmony. You wasn't the one insulted. You'r a very kind person. We have a medical insurance problem in our country, I am so glad you don't have that problem. My family does. I watched my son n law die of no insurance. He had a severe heart condition. Was turned down disability. So he died. He had a quadraple bypass, still turned down. Forgive me but we need help thats all I said and I get insulted. please let settle this. gentle hugs Clora ************************************************* Clora From: stanpfister@ comcast.net <stanpfister@ comcast.net> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: >>>> OT<<<<<<< blood donor eligibility guidelines @gro ups.com Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2009, 1:08 PM We really have been on a roll for the last couple of decades in terms of the economy, not all parts of the country and not all people, but in general there has been jobs and money available. Guest guest
Clora, I have no insurance. Last month because of celebrex and very low dose prednisone I bled internally. The Dr said I lost more than a quart of blood. I had to refuse hospital and take care of myself at home. I did not want lien on my home. I miss medicaid by 20 dollars a month. Fat joke when my RX bills are so high. I do not believe any insult was intended. This disease, the pain, frustration has us all at wits ends..... May your day be better......may we all have pain free moments... Guest guest
Clora, Please don't worry or be insulted. I don't believe Stan meant any harm. It seems that he was just speaking about conditions in the country in general, not directing his comments in any negative way toward you. I think this is simply a misunderstanding. Guest guest
Clora: I apologize for my comments upsetting or offending you. That was not my intention. I would have done so earlier but I've had a rough couple of days with RA related issues. No, I don't think I know everything and I certainly do not believe I am in charge here.
