Guest guest
Hi, thanks for the welcome Re: Hi, I'm New Welcome Sandy. You will find a lot of support on this site. I don't know how I lived without this group before I joined. And with the Adkins diet, watch and don't eat very much red meat. It's harder for our bodies to break down.Again, Welcome!Jayne>> Hi to all,> My name is Sandy (not Mule). I'm a 47 year old christian, wife and mother. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a week ago but have had symptoms for years. I also have IBS and TMJ and fight depression at times. I'm also asthmatic and have to take a lot of steroids which doesn't help with the pain. I've read that this is all related but I just know that I hurt. I've come here looking mainly for friendship among kindred spirits. Also, information and help. > I am also very overweight (230 @ 5'4") and my doctor recommends that I go on the Atkins diet. He also recommended swimming to me. I started my swimming yesterday and it felt wonderful. However, I awoke at 2:00 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Hopefully, that is just a one time thing.> Thanks for being here, I need you.> Sandy>
Guest guest
Thanks is, Do you quilt? My grandmother used to make quilts. Re: Hi, I'm New Hi Sandy,Welcome. I joined a month or so ago. This is a nice group of people. I was diagnosed 3 - 4 years ago and think it was brought on by a really bad year of stress and overwork but I think it was lingering in the background off and on for quite a while. That year was just the other shoe dropping.I have two grown children and one grandchild. I am not working at present but looking for something to keep my spirits up but not kill my health at the same time. You'll get a lot of useful information here on top of a friendly ear to listen to you.is>> Hi to all,> My name is Sandy (not Mule). I'm a 47 year old christian, wife and mother. Guest guest
Hello Sandy, My name is , and I'm new to the group too.Welcome.This is a nice group.I've gotten some good suggestions from some group members to help me with pain, and I am very grateful for their assistance. This thing we all have in common is very complexed.Sometimes all I can do is retreat to my bedroom, curl up in my bed and cry like a baby, because I'll be hurting so bad that there's nothing else I can do. But I try to keep a positive attitude. Then when I have a gooood day, I take advantageof it.Mule wrote: Hi, thanks for the welcome Re: Hi, I'm New Welcome Sandy.
