Mine is set at 72 but it depends on what size print you are using. You might need to experiment a little. Keep track of the numbers so you will know. Guest guest Posted August 14, 2000 Report Share Posted August 14, 2000 Sally, The 72 is 72 characters in Courier font (fixed width) which is 7.2 inches (I think). So if you go to another font (variable like Times New Roman) you may have a different number of characters but still the 7.2 inches (at 12 points).
