Guest guest Posted May 2, 2002 Report Share Posted May 2, 2002 Alma - I hope what he meant is that your lining might actually be much thicker but it cannot be accurately measured because scar tissue along the walls of your uterus may be " blocking " the natural growth of your endometrium. That is what I would understand that to mean. Dr. Valle told me the same thing. Before I had surgery with him my endometrium measured 7.3mm (after my former doctor had told me I had " no living endometrium " HA!) Dr. Valle told me that this was a good starting point because it was indicative of the very real possibility that there was " more " endometrium " trapped " behind scar tissue.
