Guest guest
Hi , my name is & I have the same problem you do with the back pain & it goes into my hip & down my leg. My MRI showed I had a cyst behind the faucet joint at the end of my spine. I went to a neurosurgeon & he wanted to try me on steroid injections. I took one & had panic attacks everyday so I quit. He said he really didn't know if the pain was coming from the cyst. I don't think it is. I was suppose to have a milagram (sp) but I decided not to have it. During the summer I did a little better when I was going to my brother's pool. My GP wants me to try physical therapy to see if that will help with the pain. I'm suppose to start that Tuesday. I sure hope it helps. I can't handle exercise. I try to do my stretching but that's about all I can do. I'm sorry you have this monster at such a young age. I'll be 49 this month & I think that's too young to be in the pain I am & have so much fatigue. Sure hope you get feeling better. Warm Hugs, -- Re: For Donna Hi My name is and I am 34 yrs old and have been recently been diagnosed with fibro, like within the past 2 weeks. I have been having chronic pain in my back that radiates down my leg into my foot, P did not help and my MRIs only showed small herniations on L2-3, L4-5 and they said that was not enough to couse all of my pain to the point that i could not walk. that was one year ago already, well anyway I had my Gyn appointment and he said that he thought that I had fibro since I was very sensitive to the exam and the blood draw. I went to the rheumatologist and low and behold he was right, My doctor said that he has not seen to many cases where people have sciatica pain with the fibro but it does happen. I did not realize how bad my body hurt until he went through the exam, i was actually amazed by it. Now as the days are going on my arms hurt so much that i feel like i cant even pick them up and i am so tired, i have said for a while now that i am always tired but this is crazy, to feel like i cant lift my arms and my shoulders. OH did I mr\mention that I already have trigeminal neuralgia. I mean cut me a break. Enough is enough. I work full time and i am a nurse with a husband and 2 kids. well i think that i have gone on long enough. i was started on zoloft. i was also told to do aerobics for 25 minutes a day for the pain but i am to tired and everything hurts. anyone have any ideas how to deal with this please. I am looking for ansswes. thank you
