Guest guest
Awwwwwwww! I totally understand why he'd think Santa would be scary. I doubt ny would sit on his lap either. We were at church yesterday and the Reverend tried to have a 'talk' with ny who naturally paid no attention to him at all and squirmed to get away. Argh j > and dh went to dh's company kids Christmas party today. (if you can make sense of that, congrats!) Marc told me that was the only child who wouldn't sit on Santa's lap, although he did shake Santa's hand... > >Later, I asked why he didn't sit on Santa's knee. > > " He was SCARY! " said, in a voice that did seem to be recalling fear. > > " Santa? Scary? Why? " I asked. > > " He looked like a big red Christmas MONSTER " answered. his delivery of this was rather serious, and I believe him. > > " Santa? A MONSTER? I've never heard THAT before! ( She wouldn't sit on his lap until she was about 5. I never pushed her though my husband always wanted her to. Then when she finally starts, she so big, she needs to stop. But she's really into Santa and I don't know how we're ever going to break it to her that her brother and sister are right ....well....in case any kids are reading, I won't continue. But you understand the problem, right? Tina
Guest guest
shakes Santa's hand too. He also likes to lift his beard while saying " Who's in there? " . I asked him why he won't sit on Santa's lap, he said " He's not Daddy! " Tuna >>>>>>>>>>>>>> and dh went to dh's company kids Christmas party today. (if you can make sense of that, congrats!) Guest guest
was about 9 before he'd sit on Santa's lap. I now have a 12 1/2 year old who still believes in Santa and the Tooth Fairy, etc. Sue
