Hi Shell, It is me Mae who sat in front of you yesterday at meeting

number 2. I live in Ceres, below Modesto.I am 52 started at 320.1

5' 7 " . Widowed with two grown children and one granddaughter. My

daughter and granddaughter were with me yesterday. My son lives in

PA.

I was thrilled I had lost 7 pounds in the week. You are to be

congratulated on your 10#. WOOHOO We are on our way!

Have they gave you a Dr. yet? Did you get Umbach? They gave me him. I

go October 25 @1:30 to see Beth, then afterwords see Dr. Umbach. That

gives me almost 2 weeks so I hope to lose the weight and get on the

list for surgery.

Shell, we are on the same time frame it looks like. I had gone to the

same orientation with you. I too liked the chime. But then at

orientation I was in the back of the room and could hardly hear the

music. In fact I thought it was coming from out in the hall. That is

how bright I am. Then when Gety explained about the fellow singing, I

got it LOL.

I have been folowing the stage 3 diet, and that is how I lost the

weight I did. Before going to orientation, I had heard that we had to

lose the weight. So I ate like it was my last meal for a couple of

months. I new if I was to start to eat GOOD food, I would lose

fast. I hope I con't to be right about that. I so want this

surgery.

Hi Mae Welcome!! Im so glad your here. Yes we are on the same time

frame. I am like you I new once I started eating right id be able to

lose a tiny bit of weight. Ten pounds in a week was ALLOT!! LOL but

then i did have the flu. I am going to follow the 1200 mean plan this

week and well see what happens. Its seems you have allot of support

from your family like me which is such a god send.

I do have a appointment with Dr.Umbach on oct 22nd and with Beth later

that day (who i really liked meeting sat) I am planing on going to

these meeting every sat if i can I like the support.

Good luck Mae!!! let us know how it went. I posted about my Dr. visit
