We had a meeting today for I briefed the new principle and the new Title one teacher on Chris's history, and we talked about homework/frustration, management, etc, and they agreed that needs workload modifications and some other accomodations. The Title One teacher is writing it up and we will basically now have a 504 for Chris. Gail saw her pdoc today and he said, here's a note for the school. She needs to be on a 504. Okay. Well, that lasted a terribly long time. The school won't want to do a 504 on Gail but since her pdoc says she needs one now I guess we will have a 504. Even though we are just starting and things seem to be going well I have to admit, I think it's to her benefit. And I spent a whole maybe four hours at home with the boys and managed to get 2 loads of laundry and dishes done. Sigh. I just want to stay HOME!
