Guest guest
So now I know why Funk Shway is growing so popular in this country. (ok I know the spellings all twisted there but I like it that way. Watched Japanese building a bridge with it's principles and they were worried about the position of the bathrooms in relation to harmonics of the bridge hence Funk Shway [PBS]) . Now Pete am I to take it that Americans are alone here, as they were one of the subjects of the study, or is this a general indictment on western civilization. I'd be interested in what the results would have been with European communities. Would they perhaps, have commented on the clarity of the water? Perhaps the Americans concentrated on the fish due to the immense popularity of Fishing in this country. > Fwd: #1 culture, thought, & social psychology > > > > > >I am posting this news article in 2 parts > >Louise Maxfield >
Guest guest
Couldn't resist one more comment here. When they say Americans to which were they referring? Blacks, Northern, North Eastern, North Western, South East, Mid Western, South West, Western, Alaskan, Hawaiian, Puerto Ricans, Guamanians, (Insert 48 other states here) Whites Indians, Mexicans, Cubans, Polish, Swedes, Scots, Brits (ooops forgot wasn't supposed to mention them) and that's just for starters. Were they first, second, third etc etc generation immigrants? Pick the most isolated corner of the world and it's represented here. I'm going to assume they were WASP's. Which would mean their backgrounds are.... > Fwd: #1 culture, thought, & social psychology > > > > > > > > > >I am posting this news article in 2 parts > > >Louise Maxfield > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Sir, Madam, my Lords, Ladeez, and fellow Bonnie Prince Charlies, Welsh people, and similar alike, et al., et al., As a member state of Dr Fenderson's Greater British Empire (join now at http://totl.net/GBE/), I wish to declare my neutrality in the face of any implications these posts may hold for Anglo-American relations. A mere coinincidence of names should not be taken to suggest any connection whatever between Fenderson's GBE and the former British Empire of Great Britain, (Commonwealth, etc., q.v.). It is, any fule know, all Canada's fault anyway. Count me out. My GBE republic is dedicated only to the extinction of stepNazis anywhere.
