Guest guest
OMG is right, Amy ! Poor Bethany , I know how I feel about wasps and I've never been stung! Hope she's ok. {{{{{{{Bethany}}}}}}}} Ali Amy Helmuth wrote: Poor Bethany this time. We were waiting for her bus when it happened. There are a ton of young-5s that ride her bus. They were messing around in the bushes next to the stop when they hit a wasp nest. Yep, lots of stings. Horrid, horrid, horrid. Bethany was stung on the face. Our neighbor 's boy, Chase, was stung at least 10 times. Talk about screams and mass panic! So, Bethany is calming down, and then I will take her to school. I just feel so awful for her. Guest guest
Cool! Jacquie H > > 's just dressing for school. It was cool yesterday morning and I told him to wear shorts and long sleeves. He did, and when we got to school the other kids were all in t-shirts and shorts. > > It's cool again, and I just told him to wear shorts and long sleeves. AND HE SAID... " Everybody else thinks it's warm outside. I want to wear warm day clothes too. " OMG. Guest guest
YIKES! Somebody better watch those little kids! I hope she is feeling better. I know if that had happened to me at her age there is no way I would have made it to school. Jacquie H > Poor Bethany this time. Guest guest
> >Poor Bethany. > >How is she now? She did go to school, just late. After some medicine and some ice she felt like she could handle it. Her teacher had her stand in front of the class and tell everyone what happened and then they talked about the dangers of playing with a wasp nest. That made her feel good. > >Like she needs anything else to be anxious about. :-( Yep, exactly. I don't imagine she'll want to play outside today. Ugh. 's boy Chase was actually stung 20+ times. He is doing OK, but can you imagine? Poor little guy. His sister got to him first and was trying to get the wasps off of him so she was stung several times as well. We have all of those little guys there because there is a daycare across the street. I think the aide that walks them to the bus will be taking more care from now on. It was just an awful experience for everyone involved. Guest guest
I just noticed we used the same subject line yesterday. Sorry about that! This is very cool Jacquie! Kep would be happiest if I allowed him to go to school naked! <sigh> Amy H--in Michigan Kepler 5 ASD and Bethany 6 1/2 NT " Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
