Putter has returned from the zoo. His father took him and Robbie and Sophie and

.

Putter adores the zoo.

He is drawing picture after picture of the animals he saw.

First he drew a big overall picture of the zoo.

Then he drew a giraffe, then a zebra (I hate drawing zebras; horses are hard

enough in my opinion, but Putter has no hangups about what he can or cannot do),

then a crane, then an ostrich, then a stork. Now he is talking about rhinos.

He is reading this message as I type and he leans over to point with his finger

at the words: " Ostrich, " he reads, and then " rhinos. "

Well, Putter only illustrates what he wants to illustrate. He would do a

book on zoos and he would do an alphabet book though.

Not much text in any of those. He might as well write it himself!

Putter just adored this book and the Polar bear one. He would read it out

loud to himself over and over last summer.
