Guest guest
This might help. I stopped taking Plaquanil for a week due to worry about my eyes, which had seemed to be a little blurry, but continued to take my other RA meds. I didnt' think Plaquenil was doing anything, but boy was I wrong- things got worse. Then I started taking the Plaquenil again but it was over 2 weeks before I felt better. I think it takes a while to build up in your system- so just keep taking it and maybe you'll feel better soon. I hope so.
Guest guest
Same thing with me. I have either RA or Psoriatic Arthritis, because I am seronegative but display joint pain etc. After my RA doctor tried Meloxicam and Cellebrex, which I had to discontinue, she put me on Plaquenil and after 3 months I was sure it was doing nothing. My eyes got a little blurry and I freaked out. Stopped taking it and after a week, my hands were killing and neck and feet, back too. I had eye test which came out fine. I continued Plaquenil and it took a few weeks before it slowly got better. Good luck. > > This might help. Guest guest
Plaquenil did wonders for me but it did take 6 months to kick in. I almost gave up on it but was so glad I didn't.

Guest guest
Another problem with Insurance company's is that they have /Jane Doe making decisions about Medical issues, and they may not even have a High School diploma. Nobody but your doctor should make a decision on your treatment and health care. I could get on a big soap box about this issue. But we've all dealt with this kind of thing with Insurance co. before. Guest guest
Ain't it the truth! Very well said! As I said here recently, their bottom line is always money, money, money.
