Guest guest
Hi Jackie, I don't know, obviously, if you have MS or not. From what I understand though, according to the MS Society, usually for an MS diagnosis, neurologists require at least 2 lesions on MRI (or 2 markers of MS like lumbar puncture proteins and/or lesions on MRI), as well as two or more separate physical attacks, separated in time (or 1 attack that lasts a year or more without a remission) in order to make the diagnosis of MS. There are also people who has lesions on MRI but are told the pattern does not present like MS. Some doctors seem to make the diagnosis a lot more quickly than others. It can be a bit hard to diagnose. And some people are also misdiagnosed with it. So it is quite confusing. Could the diabetes cause those symptoms? If it turns out you do have MS, this disease seems to be different in every single person--Truly. I know people who have had a benign case (none, or almost no symptoms) and have had MS for as long as 20 years and don't even do much to manage it either. I know a few people who only ever had one isolated attack, made a few changes to their lifestyle and never had another attack. Other cases are much more severe. And still other cases are mild-to-moderate or moderate....Most or all cases seem to be helped by a variety of healthy measures, many of which are discussed on this group: But mainly here you will see people being helped by the " Best Bet Diet, " an oral medicine called " LDN, " certain supplements that vary per person and take some trial and error, and a general healthy lifestyle. There are many more options as well, but that names just a few in the natural and alternative world of treating MS. On the other hand, if one follows a more conventional medicine approach, MS drugs called " Interferons " are prescribed by doctors to slow MS. Most of the people in this group (this group being a natual and alternative MS healing group) don't think the these Interferons work well, or at all, but I do know some people who have been on them for years and do in fact think they help. I know it is overwhelming and scary, with one of the scaries times being at the beginning told one might have MS. I guess at this point just take it day to day and try to figure out what it is - while starting to implement better health practices immediately--you might start by cleaning up your diet, such as eliminating processed foods, sugars, caffeine, alcohol, cigarettes if you are a smoker, etc. Sorry about what your dealing with and hope the best for you. > > Hi everyone, > I was diagnosed with ms last week and i was wandering if i should not worry about this,or if this is
