Hi Helen, I eat the Blue Bunny brand of yogurt, purchased at WalMart. It is sweetened with Splenda. Eunice
Guest guest
I just have Dannon's Lite 'n Fit yogurt in my fav White Chocolate and raspberry! It's got 16 carbs (which is sugar) and 90 calories. I have this on occasion because for me it's not watching amounts of sugar but carbs as a whole. I usualy only eat half a container at a time and maybe eat 1 container per week for something sweet. So i have a 45 calorie, 8 carb snack every three days or so. Since all carbs break down as sugar in your body anyways i find that carbs whether it's listed as sugar or not is really the number to look at. Some yogurts have as many as 48 carbs per " single serve " container. So my lite yogurt works great for me and i don't see a rise in bg levels when i have this as a typical snack i eat has anywhere from 5-15 carbs. Guest guest
You are really lucky not to have to count carbs and fat. My Dr told me to go No sugar, no fat and low carbs. Carbs turn to sugar so fast he said so I have to watch all three. But will check it out. I wrote the company and asked a few questions just to be sure. Thanks, Helen H. and the 4 Fuzzies http://helen.dogagent.com/ http://dogagent.com/gallery/helen http://www.pepedog.com/hh/tribute.htm http://dogsofourheart.ath.cx/index.html http://dogsofourheart.ath.cx/ Re: Yogurt In a message dated 7/21/2003 2:31:47 PM Eastern Daylight Time, laharrison03@... writes: > I should have asked if Low Fat too Hi Helen, I have no idea.
