Hi y'all,

I soooooo excited, guess WHAT....I've started writing m' BOOK.......I've been researching my family's immigration stories since 1994 & was ready to start the write up this time last year! Instead of writing I got sidetracked by IPF & kidnapped by the Medical World! Then it was time to race to the UK with my family while I still could.

I've done over 4000 words which is a good start & even better , it's all flowing like a FLOOD! The problem will be to organise & control the stories! They'll end up being sorted into Volumes, one for each Family story. A Cornish, Irish, Scots & an English story. There'll also be a special one for the 7 Convict Ancestors whose plight, courage & determination needs to be made known fro future generations.

Did you Americans know that had it not been for the American War of Independance, the English never would've bothered setting up a Penal Colony in a place that they wern't even sure they could find again by ship? Captain Cook found it once & once only, & that was more by chance than design....he didn't even know it's circumference let alone it's shape or Land Mass. Your country closed the doors to the English system of shipping off their Prison Population & they really had precious few options open to them!

More likely Australia would've been French or Dutch & it was only that China had closed it's doors to the world that they hadn't claimed this continent for themselves before anyone else. They'd found it in 1412! There are Ming Dynasty Vases & plates with Kangaroos on them!

Nothing like being handed an Exit Card to stick a bomb under a gal & get her motivated! I've stopped worrying about HOW to do it & I'm just leting it RIP!
