Guest guest
Hello Katerina, regarding the reaction to the Noni juice, it may have been due to the citric acid, or just a Herx caused due to a cleansing action from the Noni, or both. ....RP
Guest guest
Morning, Personally, the noni juices etc, are way over priced. Not to say they aren't beneficial. But other organic juices are cheaper in price. Somebody's pockets are getting full of money. I have the same effect after eating home prepared pure foods. I can't eat out without feeling " off " afterwords. We tend to become addicted to poisons contained in processed foods. The guy that ate at Mcs for thirty days and fared poorly and made the movie (can't remember the name) made the interesting comment, that at first he would get sick after he ate the crap. Then he would be sick before he ate, and would feel fine after. That's physical addiction. Shep > Hello, > I have read much about Noni juice and I wanted to try it. Some days ago, my husband brought me a bottle (a Spanish brand) he had bought at a health store. He is not a healthy eater himself, but he appreciates my healthy eating and lifestyle. When I checked the label, I saw that the bottle contained 98.5% noni juice, concentrated apple juice, natural aromas and citric acid. I didn't like the fact that it was not pure noni juice but I tried it for two days. Generally speaking my health is at a very good level, I exercise regularly, live an active life and walk without problems. After two days on this juice, I started feeling tired while walking and having some balance issues. I stoped drinking the juice immediately and, another two days after, my health and vitality came back to normal. The lesson I got is never trying foods that are not 100% pure. But, I wonder, after being on a strict BBD for 18 months and eating foods I have prepared myself > with mostly organic ingredients, have I become sooo sensitive? Or probably I am noni juice intolerant. > KaterinangredientsthThe lesson I(>1 km),_._,___ > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi , what does natural flavors mean? MSG! Noni juice is highly over-rated. It contains more apple juice than noni juice. Noni is very high in antioxidnts, but the juice cocktail cannot equally compare to fresh noni juice, which is unavailable commercially. This is a case of the tail wagging the dog! > > Hello, > I have read much about Noni juice and I wanted to try it. Guest guest
I got 100% Tahitian Noni juice here (Spain) a few years ago and it was brilliant (if expensive) at clearing me out and sorting a few things out like incontinence and fatigue. I'd guess that the " natural aromas " could be hiding something untoward. Concentrated apple juice is never good either. But maybe your are just allergic to morinda citrifolia. If you get a chance, and are inclined, and can find, 100% Noni, it is worth the extra money. I only did a course of about 4 bottles and that was enough. Guest guest
Thank you and Janet, I am curious about what has happened with noni juice and I will give it a second try. I have already ordered a 100% pure one, three times more expensive, and I will keep you posted about the results. How much should one drink per day? Guest guest
You are right. Although I have always been on the healthy eating side, before the radical change I have made to my eating habits 18 months ago, I used to have bottled juices bought from the supermarket. I also had some " light " or " healthy " products without checking the labels (like my husband did with noni juice). Now, it seems that my body has got used to talking to me and I have got used to listening to it. Katerina Re: food sensitivity Morning, Personally, the noni juices etc, are way over priced. Guest guest
Hello , Do you think that two days on 30 gr of noni juice/day is enough to start a Herx reaction? As far as I know from previous cleansings, I usually take a week. Thank you for your interest. Katerina Re: food sensitivity Hello Katerina, regarding the reaction to the Noni juice, it may have been due to the citric acid, or just a Herx caused due to a cleansing action from the Noni, or both. ....RP
Guest guest
Hello Katerina, Dr J. Winer says " anything can cause anything " . I doubt that it is a delayed food reaction if you hav'nt used it before. Some of these natural substances are like WD-40, they can get in to cells and clean. .....RP
Guest guest
Hi Katerina, I had forgotten but I had a Herx reaction to Noni within the first week - all my symptoms got worse and I was going to stop it. I'm glad I didn't as I am sure it helped certainly incontinence and a bit of fatigue. A book I read on Noni said to expect a Herx. The 100% is the only one to go for as all the rest are just expensive mixes of fruit juice and goodness knows what. Guest guest
Hi Janet, and others, I am going to try the 100% pure noni juice. I will be more persistent this time and I will give it at least one week.. I will keep you posted. about the results. Katerina
Guest guest
I don't think a week is long enough but I'm not as well up as RP/others on herx reactions. Since I joined this board I almost relish Herx reactions as I've realised I nearly always feel better afterwards. (No, not like banging your head against a brick wall. I mean that usually some symptom or other has cleared up.) Personally, I'd keep going till I'd finished the bottle then see where you are but others might disagree.
