I also asked about the other vein taken out of the groin for " relieving " the

varicose veins. He said it is NOT taken out, but the valve in the groin is tied

with a stitch so no more blood flows through it, but the vein stays intact in

the leg (if they ever need it). This is a man that was a surgeon in the major

hospitals before he turned to varicosities, so he knows. He said alot of times

for heart bypass these days, the doctors use the mammary artery (going to the

woman's breast or still to the man's *supposed* breasts) which is closer to the

heart and it works twice as good as the vein in the leg or arm.
