Guest guest
Jane... I think I must sleep at least some of the time w/open mouth because I too often have dry mouth. However, I canNOT tolerate the full face mask. I'm glad you can. Hope you're feeling better and better. will be ok! Mama-Sher, age 69. UIP (IPF?) 3-06, OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Mama-Sher Mama-Sher, When I first started using my CPAP I had a mask like yours. Later on, I got a full face mask because I sleep with my mouth open. I would love to go back to the petit blue mask. Do you sleep with your mouth open? My mouth is so dry every morning. Toodles! Guest guest
Mama-Sher, I am dragging today. I went back to the chiro because I must of slept wrong on my left shoulder. Then I busted the bag that you heat in the microwave to put on your aches & pains and got it on my chair. Whoo Eddie is sure going to be mad at me later. I don't even feel like going anywhere. Eddie is determined that we are going to eat supper at church and that I am going to my 3 year old choir. I have had a nice nap and Max is in his kennel so I think I will go to my piano studio for 30 minutes. went to an interview yesterday and they asked her to come back today from 9 to 5. She got there this morning an hour early. This child sure does need a job so she can pay her rent. Sher, I am really, really tired of the mask. I have been wearing it since November 2003. I will write more later. Take care. Toodles! Jane UIP/IPF 12/1998 Dalton, Georgia aka pianolady_musicgirl>> Jane... Guest guest
Jane... Some days I just want to stamp my foot and scream at the top of my lungs, "DAMNIT"!! Coping during the day and coping during the night. I added O2 to my humidifier last night and now there are two doohickeys coming off the cpap. lol. Will your O2 provider help you in trying another mask?? There may well be changes since 2003. I really like the one I use...the little blue gel-like nose mask. Soft. Or maybe there is another option for a mask for you. Have you inquired? Keep trying.... Mama-Sher, age 69. UIP (IPF?) 3-06, OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Guest guest
I am going to inquire when I become eligible again. Every 6 months but I don't remember when I got the one I have now. I use a different O2 company for CPAP supplies and another one for O2. This has been one of those "DAMNIT" DAYS! Toodles! Jane UIP/IPF 12/1998 Dalton, Georgia aka pianolady_musicgirl > >> > Jane... Guest guest
Jane... I'm not understanding "become eligible again"...are you not now using a cpap? So if you are, are you saying you can only get a mask every 6 months? Even if the one you currently have doesn't work for you? Hmmmm. No wonder it's a "DAMNIT'! day. lol Mama-Sher, age 69. Guest guest
Yes. Thanks Jane, I am doing pretty good. I notice on some days I need O2 all day and today I've used it very little. I'll bet was glad to see her uncle. Now don't worry if she's a little down. Is she still looking for work? Looking for work is a job in itself! Sleep well. Mama-Sher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Mama-Sher Hi Mama-Sher Sounds as if you are doing all right. I am doing all right. My brother surprised today when he was in Nashville. I so appreciated him going out of his way to visit her. He thought she was a little bit down. I have worked hard today to cheer her up whenever I talk to her on the phone. I was glad to get my brother's insight on on his drive home to Georgia. Toodles!
