I have family on a reserve in Saugeen, and could juuuuuuuust get a band card if I wanted/needed to. I'm not sure what native relations are like with the U.S. government, but around here, natives have a LOT to be pissed and bitter about. Guest guest Posted November 22, 2002 Report Share Posted November 22, 2002 Sara, About the only thing I can offer information on is that once the insurance makes a payment to the Dr., even if it's an overpayment, the most they can do is 'request' the overpayment back. I don't think that they can do anything to you about this mistake they are making. I hope the rest of the mess works out for you.
