I agree Cheryl. I just joined this community yesterday for support because I

am pre-op and al I've seen so far is this ISSUE!!

My name is Dee Parsons and like I said I just got insurance approval

yesterday. I hope to get a surgery date Saturday since I have done all my

" homework " . Thanks for your answer. I am most certainly in the need of

support mode right now!

Well... speaking for one who has been around since the first of this

year ... let me tell you that this group is like any group... people get

their dander up and get defensive and some go on and on and on ...

eventually they let things go ....

BUT ... filter thr all that occasional (and I mean occasional) garbage

and you will find a friendly, loving, informed, educated, helpful,

supportive group of sincere people.

Now, did I paint a true picture or what?? Lets clear the air so those

folks who are here for support and education can get on with the

business of being educated and supported ...

Great ... I am sure you'll get what you need here ...The nurses at the

hospital that prep you for surgery told me that Dr R's patients were the

most educated surgery patients she had ever encountered. I'd say that

was a high compliment for him and US.

I jsut got home from Durham and my surgery date is 10-26!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
