There is something that works better than ambesol for teeth. It is called first

aid for teeth. It comes in a little brown bottle with a pair of tweezers and

small cotton balls. You dip the cotton ball in the medicine and then put the

cotton ball where the pain is. Be careful you don't get it on your tongue. It

burns. If you can't find this another thing that works is clove oil. You should

be able to find it in the grocery store or a health food store. Be careful with

the clove oil also as it is very strong and it will chap your lips if it touches

your lips but it works wonders for your teeth. Or sucking on a tea bag also

works. The clove oil is basically what the dentist will put on a dry socket or

if you have problems after they pull your teeth. I hope this helps. I have a

lot of abscesses also and deal with toothaches every day.
