Guest guest
I have officially become a lurker... I would say hope all is well with everyone but going through the 200+ posts I had, it seems a lot of people are having some problems and our group continues to grow. A special welcome to Carol. I'm not sure which is more saddening to see, seeing an individual who is so young being dx or reading of someone with recurrent PSC. Fear of the unknown I suppose. Having had a tx 2 years ago, having another member with recurrent PSC is disheartening but I am encouraged that the progression seems to be " slower " the second time around. I see Tim R. has responded as I am sure Steve will shortly. We have a couple of other members with recurrent PSC so maybe they will be able to offer some advise, if requested. , my continued prayers for your brother and now your Mother. My grandmother broke her leg in a car accident. She had to have the same operation to shore up her leg. Especially praying that her cancer is isolated and can be treated!! Tim R, good luck tomorrow with the tube exchange. Praying it is nothing more than a blockage in the tube causing the billi to elevate. Patty, my sincere condolences to you and your family on Lee's passing. Peggy, still cannot believe the situation you are going through. Seems irresponsible on the center's part. But what can you do? Switch? Hope your son is a match and that you can find some relief from the constant swelling. On to some good news!! Joanne, I read that Todd is doing wonderful after the 2nd tx. Way to go Todd and way to go Joanne for surviving the rollercoaster ride with such strength and resolve.. Hope is doing well and back to full strength shortly. , I haven't seen a post regarding your Dad and . I think had a minor set back but is doing better now. Hope all is well. Steve, congratulations on the 6 month follow-up and for now going month to month on blood draws. If you can go 100 mph, then do it. Don't let anyone or anything slow you down. After going through 3 txs, you deserve to do anything you want. Here's to continued go health...... Andi, great to hear from you!! The view from your new apartment sounds quite nice and picturesque - despite the Animal Planet series going on in front of you :-). Glad to hear your health has stabilized and your feeling okay. Sorry to group everyone (I apologize for those I missed) into one email. I figured it was better than dozen or so separate ones. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a safe and spectacular New Years. All my best, Darin
