greetings all from snowy Nova Scotia (I HATE WINTER)......

been lurking lately like some kind of pervert, but anyway......congrats on new babies, and all with good news...

cindy, give 'em hell and don't back down.....

I could go on individually but I do read all posts, think about you all, share in your pain and laugh at your stories.....

Mike and I are in the middle of our very own crap storm here........we fell behind on our mortgage payment x 2 when he had to go to London for his transplant assessment (we were told the trip was free, ...well about $1200 later....anyway), we were trying to catch up and the Royal Bank (I think people should know what crumbs they are), were told the whole story about illness etc...and wanted all arrears paid by Dec. 30, well that was NOT possible...well, today we got a letter from their lawyer giving us 10 days to pay the arrears, the deadline was today, we got the letter today...nice eh? and it was postmarked just Friday, letter was typed Jan. 9...so, it sat there for almost a week before they mailed it. They even sent us back the money we'd sent in an effort to catch up, as much to say 'shove it, we don't want it'......we really don't know what to do now........they want to foreclose over a couple of payments?

let the chips fall where they may I guess, I have emailed the lawyer asking him about his mailing system and how a letter of that importance was not registered and allowed to sit around without being mailed in due time for our so called deadline, of course I have yet to hear back from him...
