Dawn,

I wonder why your doctor said that. Many women have gotten pg with only one

tube. And as a matter of fact, I only have one tube (my left which is in

perfect condition) and I have done tons of research and I haven't found

anything that discourages women not to TTC. I actually do insemination, but

even naturally, if you O from the left side, the right side has nothing to do

with it. Oh well, I know that must have been very disappointing but don't let

it get you down. Doctor's do NOT know everything and I have taught mine a

thing or two from the information I have learned here.

((hugs))) sweety. Believe me I know the awful ring to those

words " IVF only " . My dh and I just recently found out the same

after suffering another loss ( one uterine and one ectopic).

Finances are huge issue with us to.

Hold onto hope though because the HSG just may show an

open tube for you! Miracles DO happen! I will keep you and dh in

my prayers that all will work out for you.

Hi Dawn,

I'm sorry your Dr. upset you. I think they go straight for an expensive

medical treatment almost every time like everyone can afford it. I

don't see why you couldnt concieve if you have one tube open. That

should be all it takes as long as the fibria or whatever the little

hairlike things inside the tube are ok too. I hope they are. Hold on

to your hope and faith. Take care,

Vicki

That whole thing doesn't make sense. Does she not think you can get

pg on your own? Do you see an RE or ob/gyn? I would try and get some

better answers. Although you might not be able to get them until the

HSG. Keep us posted.

Dawn,

I'm sorry you had such a terrible dr.'s appointment. I hope things

work out differently and the hsg shows different possibilites. You

are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dawn,

I don't know alot of info about ep,but I know drs offer and good chance of a

woman getting pregnant with only one tube, especially when it is

healthy.Maybe your dr is not giving you correct info.I would talk to someone

else if I could.
