I take Propulsid and another one, can't remember the name of it. Great big

capsule 2 colors. No problem since I started taking these meds. I'll check

the name of the other one and get back to you. Pepsid worked for me for

years and then it pooped out. I've had the endoscopy EGD procedure several

times. You'll be fine but the real cure comes from having the mini gastri

bypass surgery and losing weight which is what I am living for!!!!! Plese

God let it happen soon!!!!! It's all I think about 24 - 7. Toodle.

Ok now I have all my info in front of me. I take one Prevacid a day which is

30 mg and Propulsid twice a day which are 20 mg each. This keeps the reflux

well undercontrol for now. Like I said I use to take 40 mg of Pepsid a day

and it got so it didn't do much for me. Thank God this problem is taken

care of as it can really make life like " agony " for you.

Carlissa,

Thanks :) i have been doing research as every night on it. I can't say i am

too happy with getting it but then i suppose no one would be. I am a bit

confused as today i was eating my low carb diet and i had like a gall

attack.. dumping. it was lovely at work and all. Is it possible both my

gallbladder is going bad and i now have reflux? do they go hand in hand? i

guess i am special that way :) i will have my scan on the 14th so that will

let me know about the gallbladder .. then i am praying my reflux or whatever

it is is gone by the 19th of nov or i'll have to have an endoscope. ick!

then i should be cleared for surgery i hope.

Does anyone know if you need to have the Gallbladder out does Dr R do it

himself or does he have another surgeom do that? i ask becuase i will be

paying out of network and if that is the case i will unwilling have the

gallbladder done here lap for no cost.

Have a great evening

There are soooooooooo many ways to get information on REFLUX or GERD. Just

go to one of your search engines and type in Reflux or GERD and more info

than you are willing to read will pop up.

I think that you would benefit best by calling Dr. Rutledge and have a

phone consultation. :)
