Guest guest
Happy holidays, all. Whew...it's been a long two weeks. From the 16th until Christmas I sang every night, put on a cantata at our church, and led the music for our Christmas eve service, not to mention all of the usual holiday craziness with kids, santa, and extended family. It's been great, but it reminded me that I'm not moving quite as fast as I used to. Last year, my energy was high and the holiday craziness didn't slow me down in the slightest. Naps these past two weeks were daily and I get to a point each day when I can't seem to move -- I try to pick up my 20 pound daughter and have trouble getting her up. Then, an hour later, I feel fine. I love the holidays, but I could do without the interruptions in my routine that remind me so clearly that I'm not the picture of good health that I felt like last year. Speaking of not feeling quite right, I'm curious about something. We've talked lots about the mystery dull ache type of discomfort many of us get from time to time (assumed to be the passing of sludge or something)... do many of you get little twinges of, oh...I guess I would say it feels like someone pinching me slightly or maybe like someone was pricking me lightly with a tiny needle from the inside? Hmm. Just interesting. I was without those for a while, but they're back along with intermittent dull aches. Well, I'll let you all go. Have a great new years. Philip PSC '94. Listed 6/03.
