Open your favorites and then click on the one you want to send in an email -

click but keep holding down and drag to your email. It'll insert a hyperlink

into your email.

Shirley-

Thanks for writing to me. Wow! You have had a rough time! Well, let me

tell you some weird facts about my life that I am trying to connect to this

disease and then I want to ask you some questions.....

I-I went into puberty at 3 years old (precocious pituitary) and at that time

I had a tumor on my ovary. The doctors gave me monthly injections of

depo-provara until

9 years of age.

2-My pancreatitis attacks began at approximately 18 years old. ( I am 38 now)

The were incredibly painful with vomiting. Now they are less painful but

longer lasting, more back pain and less pancreas and happen near or during

my period. Still, my lipase this last time was up to 4400!

3-The doctors say I have many pseudo cysts on my pancreas as well as my

ovaries.

Do you know that I've been so confused that I have actually looked up

Cystic Fibrosis in my research?!

4- I need to do something - hormonal menopause or cut and slash.

Shirley, you asked if I had a divism. What is this? Also what is puestow

surgery?

Thanks for your info. I wish I knew what to do..... I'm in a lot of turmoil.

I will pray for you, Staci

Hi Staci,

I sure hope you are feeling better. I cannot imagine having to deal with

pancreatitis for so long. I will tell you that a complete hysterectomy was

the BEST surgery I ever had and now use premarin for hormone replacement. I

was 33 which is young for that surgery but it sure cut out a LOT of other

problems for me.

Hey Lacey and Staci,

Lacey, I'm right there with you about the hysterectomy! I never felt

sooo good as I did after my complete hysterectomy and HRT. I had mine

done young, too. I was 29 but I wouldn't go back and do it differently

for the world! As soon as I started my HRT (and got off of that awful

Lupron), I finally knew what it felt like to feel good. I had been

hurting for so long, I didn't know what normal felt like. I had four

wonderful years until this awful pancreatitis struck...
