Guest guest
Poor thing! At least they are talkiing tubes already and not going to make her go through this for a really long time. My youngest was on antioboitics for 30 days a few times when she was younger. Not fun! Update on Bean As you all know, Bean has been having problems with her ears since her first ear infection at a week and 6 days. She has had 2 more since, and actually is now in the middle of one that is just not going away even with antibiotics. She seems to be following in and a's footsteps with the ear problems. She just finished her 2nd round of strong antibiotics and went last night for her 10 day follow-up. Well, she still has an infection, but it is in the right ear this time. My favorite doctor, Dr. Thad, decided to put her on 30 days of antibiotics for now to see if that will get rid of at least this infection. But, he said the next step is tubes. Since and a each had tubes inserted at about a year of age, it does not surprise me. We have to pick up her prescription tonight, and she takes it only once a day at bedtime for 30 days. Giving our little Bean medicine is not easy, she spits most of it out, so this will be a challenge! We tried the pacifier medicator, and it works better than just the syringe, but only when she is being cooperative. She's still a happy baby, though, so thank God for that!! Guest guest
, Poor little Bean! I hope this round of antibiotics help and I know the tubes will help in the future. My son needs them, and hopefuly this will help his speech also. He has had so many infections over tmost of his 4 yr old life. Dr only mentioned tubes 2 yrs ago, but he never decide it was the thing to do yet. I think its time NOW! My sisters baby that was born a month before is still having breathing trouble. She uses a breathing machine 2-3 times a day. She now has to go to lung specialist. She's been having this problem since birth. I hope they get her better soon. But like she's happy go lucky! Guest guest
REbecca, I hope Katey gets better soon. My oldest daughter had trouble with her ears, as well. She had to have tubes. I understand what you're going through. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and a speedy recovery for your Katey.
