Guest guest
hi cyndi, sorry to hear that you are having tough times, there are many people on the list who have hypo glyceamic issues, there has been a lot of talk on the list about including corn starch in its raw form before bed in order to help sustain a decent blood sugar through the night for these kids,( dr .bruce cohen, in cleveland said, "that a lot of these kids would probably feel better if they were woken during the night and given a peanut butter sandwich." i think was only to make a point , rather than an actual suggestion !) daniel must eat every 2hrs. or less otherwise he shows typical hypo. symptoms which we feel could be one of the factors of his " full crash". daniel had a full crash last weekend at 4.15 a.m. his symptoms , other than the obvious collapse are high ( for him ) slightly irreg. heart rate, 90 b.p.m. followed by ( around 10 -15 mins later) very slow, very irreg. heart rate, 40 b.p.m. it then takes 2 to 3 days before he feels good again and his rate returns to normal. hope this info. helps a little, good luck and will be thinking of you, jillian, daniels mom.
