Dr. Wm Kennedy in Sarasota, Florida is one of the finest in the country with many, many years experience performing hip replacements of all types. The entire team of about six people are tremendously skilled and truly concerned throughout the entire replacement process. Just remember, don't drink or eat anything after midnight, not even water! There is nothing to be apprehensive about with the Kennedy Team! Take your time when you get home. Do your walking and rest, rest, rest! Follow the recovery items that Dr. Kennedy outlines for you. DON'T CHEAT! Do your excesses PROPERLY AND EAT VERY WELL. I followed all my instructions to a T and had no bad experience on either hip. Use your walker properly with every step. Rest, Rest, Rest! Allstate is not the only one that puts you " in good hands " ... Kennedy does also! I'll call you when you get home next week.
