No, if anything the enzymes will help your yeast meds by sort of

cracking the outer shell of the yeast so the meds are more effective.

THe no-fenol actually helps fight yeast.

Another thing I meant to add in my last post is that I've tried the No-Fenol

for yeast several times and it made absolutely no difference at all, but a

combination of a small dose of Nystatin along with Lauricidin has been

working beautifully for us lately.

Hi ,

Well, all those enzymes with foods are going to help starve yeast and

promote all-around gut health. No-Fenol on an empty stomach is often

used for yeast control. I believe the way it works is the NF digests

the yeast cell wall, allowing your body and other yeast fighters, if

used, to more effectively kill the yeast. AFP on an empty stomach is

great for all around gut health and reducing inflammation, etc. We

use a lot of AFP when viruses set in. Like the NF with yeast, AFP

and Pep digest the virus cell wall.

I've personally used Candex and really liked it. It's a completely

different product from NF but I think it works in much the same way

as NF? You're not supposed to have die-off with Candex, so it's a

nice choice for a child. I didn't have any die-off, but others here

have reported some.

Are you using the Houston enzymes yet that you have? If you haven't

started enzyme therapy yet, there may be some adjustment time for

your son. You probably don't want to start with a full cap of NF on

an empty stomach unless he's already adjusted to it.

Don't forget the probiotics if you're fighting yeast.

Thanks so much for the info!! It's exactly what I was looking for! No, we

haven't yet started the enzyme therapy, we are actually waiting to get our

Organic Acids test back, so that we know what we're dealing with. We are

also going to have a 3 week " break " (sort of) from certain activities come

mid- August, so we wanted to use this as the " adjustment period " for my

son, when starting the enzyme therapy.

I was wondering, what is Candex exactly? I have heard of it, but don't

really know what it does exactly. Are there other side effects associated

with it, other than the " die off " reaction? In all honesty, Probiotics,

scare us right now because of all the side effects we've heard about, such

as, the person getting sick with a fever, and/or other reactions. We are

feeling pretty confident about doing the enzyme therapy, but still need to

do quite a bit more research on Probiotics. We are hoping that my son's

yeast problem is minimal (as well as everything else), and that the enzymes

will be able to take care of it. We've taken him off the Super Nu Thera,

because I learned from this board that a lot of B vitamins feed the yeast

problem, is this correct? We are waiting to receive the trial sizes of the

Spectrum Support 2 from Brainchild, so that we can start him on that for his

multivitamin. Our overall goal here is to get my son physically healthy and

healed, (although he seems healthy now, we know there's internal issues)

without having to give him 100 different things, six times a day, although

we know that's a good possibility in the beginning. Don't get me wrong, if

that works for people, that's great! But for us, we are hoping to minimize

the supplements and/or medications we give him, eventually, does this all

make sense?
