Winter Weather Moving In/Fur Kids

We have some winter weather moving in. As usual my back has been

telling me all day.

I knew it when I woke up this morning. I hate it because the usual

things that I do to help ease the pain only work for short periods of

time or not at all. So most of the day my pain has been a 7.

I had to get groceries as we were out of things that we needed. The

store was busy as well with it being Friday and the storm moving in.

There were no close parking spaces and all the electric carts were in

use. So I had to walk the store and get what I needed. I was also

looking for a wagon so I could use it to get the groceries to the

house. They had none.

I had to make several trips to get the grocries carried in. It took

me quite a bit of time to get them put away. I had to rest more than

I usually do.

I still had to walk the girls as well. So I finally got them walked

so I made them two happy dogs.

I really like having them around during the day. They are lots of

comfort when my pain is like this.

In the mornings I take my oxycontin then get on my heating pad. I

have to wait till the pain eases before I can walk them. I have one

that thinks she is a lap dog. A 42 pound lapdog.

So most of the time while I am waiting I have her on my lap. Most

mornings I fall asleep waiting for my meds to kick in. So there I

will be in my recliner with her on my lap.

She usually is stretched out on my legs with her head between my

legs. She has her head laying on the footrest. At times it hurts

but I can't bear to make her get off. Although when it hurts to much

I have to make her get down.

The other one just lays on the couch eyeballing me. She is the lazy

one of the two. She is a bit of a fatty watty dog. They both know

when I am getting ready to walk them. So they are stuck to me till

its time.

They jump up and down when I get their leashes out of the closet.

Even fatty watty gets some serious air. I hook them up and make them

sit and stay while I open the door. I get out on the porch tell them

ok and off we go.

So I hope this storm moves in before long. I am not looking forward

to another day like today has been. They are forcasting 1 to 4

inches possiblymore. The way my back feels it should snow 3 feet.
