Guest guest
Hello everyone, Yesterday I had my pain doctor's office call me and inform me that I had to surgery today at 7:00 in the morning. I had to come up for pre-registration last night and then arrive this morning at 5:30 to go to pre-op. The doctor had to replace the stimulator unit of my SCS because the battery wouldn't charge properly and when it did, it only gave me about two hours of stimulation. I also want you all to know that I don't think it would have happened today if I hadn't called the nurse for the company that had been telling me since Monday that this was getting replaced this week. I called him during my lunch time yesterday and had to get ugly because I am tired of having to suffer because of things that have happened with components of this SCS. It was withing two hours that the doctor's office called with news of my surgery today. Now that it is done, I have coverage where I am suppose to feel it and I have a battery that is now holding a full charge. The company even had the doctor replace the entire stimulation unit. Now, I can look forward to getting the relief I enjoyed during the trial! I know that I will have to stay on my medications but that's alright. Whatever makes my pain decrease is worth it now. Wishing everyone a low pain night, Lori
